A Look Into Austin McBroom's Athletic Background

If you google "Austin McBroom" you'll notice he is first identified as professional basketball player. He played D1 basketball for Eastern Washington University and averaged roughly 21 points a game for the Eagles. McBroom transferred from Central Michigan University at the time but Head Coach, Jim Hayford, was quite ecstatic to add McBroom to his squad stating, “Austin brings us immediate experience in the backcourt, which is where we have the highest concentration of youth. He is a proven player that can really shoot and has excellent floor-leading skills. This is a great addition for us to add a high-quality person and player.”  In Highschool he was a 3-sport athlete playing shortstop in baseball and running back in football.
Overall, safe to say this man is a natural athlete so it's no surprise he KO'd out the 21-year old, Bryce Hall last night. However, it was quite the impressive win as he showed flashes of his freak athleticism throughout the fight. It was expected that Hall would hold up a good fight, but McBroom's talent was just too evident. The question is what's next for the star Youtuber? Will he fight Jake Paul, who has seemed to establish himself as the top boxer amongst the influencer community. Or will he diversify his expertise in other sports as well? Regardless, I think it's fair to say McBroom is one of the more well rounded athletes amongst social media influencers and his talents should be taken more seriously.
