Clay's Plays 3/13

Sorry for the lack of posts the past couple days, I have been super busy with school and was unable to write my picks for the day. We were so close to hitting last post. A tough one to swallow. 5 out of 6 picks hit, but unfortunately Frances Tiafoe could not get it done and lost a tight match 6-7 6-7, blowing a huge second set lead. Super unfortunate, but we’ve got a full sheet today with the NBA back from the break, and we’re going to try to get positive on the week today. Overall Record: 25-15
Parlay:
Hornets ML (-140)
Trail Blazers ML (-187)
Alabama ML (-175)
Islanders ML (-180)
Lightning ML (-310)
Penguins ML (-212)
Analysis:
The Hornets are facing off against an injured Raptors team at home. The Raptors are missing Siakam, Vanvleet, OG Anunoby, and more. The Hornets have a basically fully healthy roster, and I think they win this game no problem.
The Trailblazers head to Minnesota for an away game against the Timberwolves in this one. The Timberwolves had a terrible first half to the season, but are coming off a big win against the Pelicans. Regardless, I think a fully healthy Blazers team should handle the Timberwolves in this one.
Alabama has played like the best team in the SEC all season, and are getting hot again at the right time. They face off against a Tennessee team with a dangerous defense, but I think Bama will be too much for them, especially with Tennessee missing starting forward John Fulkerson.
Islanders have won 7 straight games, and have won easily in their previous matchups with the Devils. The Devils also haven’t won at home since January 24th. All these factors together make me feel very good about this game.
Tampa Bay has been playing great, despite a loss in their recent game to Detroit. The Predators are not a good team and have lost 5 of their last 6. I feel confident that the 9-1 Lightning team at home will pick up another home victory tonight.
The Penguins go up against the worst team in the NHL right now, the Buffalo Sabres. The Sabres have lost 9 straight, while the Penguins have won 5 of their last 6. I have very little doubt that the Sabres have any chance of winning this game.
