At the Desert Diamond Arena in Phoenix, Arizona, on Saturday, YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul upset former UFC champion Anderson Silva on points in front of a capacity crowd of 14,000 spectators.

Paul won by a unanimous decision after an eight-round battle that saw him knock Silva out in the last round to secure the victory.

It was the 25-year-biggest old's victory to far in his embryonic boxing career, despite the fact that Silva, who is 47 and in the latter stages of his own career, is better recognized for his UFC victories than his boxing triumphs.

Paul nonetheless improved to 6-0 and called out UFC fighter Nate Diaz and undisputed world super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez.

Paul went from idolizing Silva to beating his childhood hero, we'll see if this streak can last but what Paul has accomplished so far is impressive.
