Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes recently had a special visitor on campus in the form of hip-hop superstar Lil Wayne. Sanders then took Lil Wayne to the Colorado football locker room.
The arrival of Sanders as head coach has raised expectations for the football program. Sanders coached the Jackson State Tigers from 2020 to 2022 before taking the job.
Deion Jackson knows that restoring Colorado football's status as a perennial Pac-12 contender will be a tall order, but he is confident that he can right the ship for the program after a forgettable season last year. Hopefully the Weezy effect takes place.
